I am an experienced IT professional with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, primarily in the technology consulting space.

I originally started as a developer using VB6 (which shows my age, if nothing else). At some point around 15 years ago I had just spent 6 months writing a CMS system for an intranet, when I spotted one of my colleagues working on a Microsoft product, which basically replicated everything I had spent 6 months writing.

This started my journey with Microsoft SharePoint which eventually led to me joining Microsoft Consulting Services where I had the opportunity to broaden my skill set and work (on the then) cutting edge services such as Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.

Since my time at MCS I spent time at both IBM and Wipro focusing primarily on Azure based technologies and services. I have since re-joined IBM as the Chief Architect for Microsoft Cloud assisting with IBM’s global clients with their journey to the cloud.
